The Single Freeper Intro Service (Shameless Vanity)
The Impending Marriage of Cyborg and Petronski | 22 July 2005 | Army Air Corps

Posted on 07/22/2005 7:15:51 AM PDT by Army Air Corps

Last night, many of us read the thread wherein Petronski announced his coming marriage to madame Cyborg. (Check DRUDGE: Unnamed Senior White House source: Cyborg and Petronski to be married...). During the course of the Cyborg-Petronski Thread, the subject of a Free Republic feature wherein single Freepers can meet their fellow conservatives.

I have a simple proposition. We could start a regular thread akin to the Freeper Canteen. Such a regular thread could serve as an opportunity for single Freepers to engage in Virtual Mingling. Also, any Freepers who have single, conservative offspring would be welcome to participate so as to arrange for introductions for their kids.

Special note to Jim: Just think of how many conservative would not have met fellow right-minded folks had it not been for FR! Cyborg and Petronski owe you one.

Calvin (orange) is the most gentle cat and obeys me extremely well; I almost never have to get after him in the first place. He's real quirky, though -- petting him is somehow off limits when he jumps up in bed. He'll even come up and knead right next to me, and even give me a kitty kiss, but I cannot pet him or else he walks to the foot of the bed.

When I wake up in the morning, he comes up and gives me a kitty kiss and once again kneads, but I cannot pet him.

When I get up, though, he immediately jumps off the bed and is all over me wanting to be petted. It's bizzare, but hey, he's a cat.

Heidi, on the other hand, has the ability to drive me nuts, and I think she enjoys it. But then she swings the other way and becomes extremely affectionate when she calms down. Otherwise, she is a bundle of energy.

O.K. I think me fixed it this time. I was rolling around in something pungent...think it was once alive, maybe...and suddenly realized "HEY! This isn't only good for me, but it would even fix my Ad!" So I rubbed some on it...and here we are. This HAS to work! So far, aside from a T.V. set from Ohio, only Brian the Dog tried to check in...but he isn't a girl Poodle either !!!

O.K., and I'll add this line too:

"Charming and considerate Muttly will lift the secret passageway under the fence for you if you want to escape later, too! He's a real catch!"

I'd be happy to have a guy hold a door open for me. It's a rare thing to see a guy open a door for a lady around here, but if they do, it's usually the older gentlemen who do so.

Yepper...Having doors held open is good. Thanks, PM.

And you're right, PV...it's always the older ones that hold open the doors. :o[

Yes! More Muttlys running around the place, digging holes in the backyard...what could be better?!!!

...so now it's up to an old t.v.set, a captive boy dog, and a monkey.

Well...where there's some fish...there's OTHER fish!

As I said..."strange things happen mostly to me."

..maybe i should change my cologne.

..................NAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You Rang..??!

Y'know, I observe that there's a difference between holding an already open door open for another male, and opening it FOR him. Any time a fella opens a door for me...I always think..."I wonder if this guy would repair my brakes for free, too?..."

Nope.

Strictly Classified Eyes and Paws Only.

It does include my presently deflated blimp which shaggy eel and I use to drop Sponge Bob pinatas into volcanoes with...so we have a scientific rationale for the trip back home's "Martini Hour," though. It also contains my protective clothing and first aid supplies for the Official More-than-once-in-a-row Canine Olympics Yo-Yo Championship...like my hardhat deep-sea diver's helmet, catcher's breastplate, and heavy welding gloves. That reminds me, me need more hydrogen peroxide and gauze. Already bought more ice for the swelling.

This concept has been tossed around on FR for years, there is a Yahoo group that still barely exists for Freepers.
