The Single Freeper Intro Service (Shameless Vanity)
The Impending Marriage of Cyborg and Petronski | 22 July 2005 | Army Air Corps

Posted on 07/22/2005 7:15:51 AM PDT by Army Air Corps

Last night, many of us read the thread wherein Petronski announced his coming marriage to madame Cyborg. (Check DRUDGE: Unnamed Senior White House source: Cyborg and Petronski to be married...). During the course of the Cyborg-Petronski Thread, the subject of a Free Republic feature wherein single Freepers can meet their fellow conservatives.

I have a simple proposition. We could start a regular thread akin to the Freeper Canteen. Such a regular thread could serve as an opportunity for single Freepers to engage in Virtual Mingling. Also, any Freepers who have single, conservative offspring would be welcome to participate so as to arrange for introductions for their kids.

Special note to Jim: Just think of how many conservative would not have met fellow right-minded folks had it not been for FR! Cyborg and Petronski owe you one.

I hope I get some sleep tonight. I have to get up early again, and then I'll be driving the 6 hours home tomorrow afternoon.

I hope it works out for him. From what they've put on the website, he seems like a nice guy.

Blue state, eh?

Where I am, they have a little more freedom than people in a blue state do. LOL

Elderly veteran of the Abraham Lincoln Brigades-completely bereft of hair, at least on skull-seeking devoted female Marxist that kind of looks like Frida Kahlo-except with a slightly fuller mustache-who'd be willing to take long strolls arm-in-arm along a sunlit beach, while reading from Das Kapital.

Got it!!! Sorry I asked!! ;-)| DD

Just remember this litmus test: "If I had children with this person, and I died, could I rest in peace knowing that this person is raising my child and making decisions on their own?" Prayers for ya' both!

One of my first litmus tests would be, "Do you want children?" If the answer is "no way," I'm not interested.

Then it would have to be "If I had children with this person, and I died, could I rest in peace knowing that this person is raising my child and making decisions on their own?"

It means "Beachcomber who likes to use a metal detector as part of a 'small business'".

Hey, I think I dated that guy once.

For about an hour.

He was scary.

Yeah, it's kind of embarrassing to go on a date with someone when they carry a metal detector with them.

:)

Yeah, and we couldn't go to a nice restaurant because he didn't own any shoes.

Aw, it was only because it took me that long before I could ditch him as he followed me around the beach.

I finally pointed to a sand dune and said "Hey, there's a pint of Mad Dog 20/20 behind that dune!" When he went to check it out, I took off running.

Yeah, I'm making this whole thing up. But, hey, it's fun!

The worst time of my life was with a stealth feminazi -- you know, the type that don't broadcast it until they have you cornered?

She wouldn't let me drive, and got majorly offended when I came around to open the door for her. I opened the door for her at the restaurant, and she refused to go in. She literally stopped, gave me a dirty look, and then opened the door for me after I closed it.

Then, she wouldn't let me pay for dinner. It was so demeaning; the only reason I stuck around was because she was my ride home!

I was hoping that she was just testing me to see how I would react, but sadly, she was serious.
