The Single Freeper Intro Service (Shameless Vanity)
The Impending Marriage of Cyborg and Petronski | 22 July 2005 | Army Air Corps

Posted on 07/22/2005 7:15:51 AM PDT by Army Air Corps

Last night, many of us read the thread wherein Petronski announced his coming marriage to madame Cyborg. (Check DRUDGE: Unnamed Senior White House source: Cyborg and Petronski to be married...). During the course of the Cyborg-Petronski Thread, the subject of a Free Republic feature wherein single Freepers can meet their fellow conservatives.

I have a simple proposition. We could start a regular thread akin to the Freeper Canteen. Such a regular thread could serve as an opportunity for single Freepers to engage in Virtual Mingling. Also, any Freepers who have single, conservative offspring would be welcome to participate so as to arrange for introductions for their kids.

Special note to Jim: Just think of how many conservative would not have met fellow right-minded folks had it not been for FR! Cyborg and Petronski owe you one.

I wasn't coming onto her. It was purely innocent. You know, like when you pet a dog, then a few days later you try to pet the dog again, and it growls at you. You can't figure out what you did wrong.

I've never had Vietnamese food, so far as I know. There's a Vietnamese restaurant just a block or so away, but I've yet to visit it. Not exactly the kinda food my roommate is into, and I always feel awkward about going to a restaurant alone, though I suppose that's silly.

I'm also still looking for work, which means I'm trying to be good about not spending money. Which works, except for my two main vices: books and music.

Okay. It happened. The past is prologue. Dust yourself off and move forward and do not dwell on it.

Good. Now, prepare yourself for good times chatting with fellow conservatives who just happen to be single. Now, put-on your best suit and polish those conversation skills.

You're. Gah. Considering I tend to be a grammar nazi, that's just embarrassing!

Movie time...be back later.

I dunno. Are you rich? Also, I don't care if you're a total lush as long as you don't mind me being a metrosexual wimp who just goofs off at the beach. I want a woman with low expectations, so I don't disappoint her....
