Easy to miss. A bit off the road. No really big signs allowed. But it does get a lot of tour bus business in the summer. Does a booming business in hats and tee shirts as you might expect. Living up there for 30 years I hoisted many a cold one in the joint. The name came from the fact that it is located about halfway, milagewise, between Fairbanks and Nenana. The original owner was indeed named Dick and was indeed very thin.
