While in college I worked at a convenience store. We had mace and a nightstick behind the counter. We were instructed to beat the crap out of any would-be criminal. Thankfully while I worked there we didn't get robbed.

I'm not sure of the point of this thread, but I've had some drinks so I'll share. One of my first jobs I had was in a full service gas station. It was owned and run by two brothers. It didn't get robbed all that often (about every five years), but every time it did, the robber always got shot. Either by one of the two brothers, or by their cousin the night mangaer. Anyways, I guess the moral of the story is, don't try to stick up a family owned business.
