And didn't I read that Kelly was coughing up blood during her post AI tour? Rough business.
Yes please if you don't mind. Bo has become friends of Rick and Bubba(2 deejays out of B'ham, very funny). They were saying something about exhaustion today too. Poor guy. He's been on a roller coaster.
How do you spell yours? My brother is Jonathan but people would spell it Johnathan or Jonathon. Drove him crazy. My name is Jamie. What drives me crazy is people would see my name and think I was male. One of my friends in High School and his name also is Jamie and he said everyone thought he was female! Go figure.:)
He's a very nice dog. Hasn't really been any problem except for the constant need for food. He sleeps well and hasn't had any problem adjusting to living here, which I thought was strange. He's the only dog Bean would tolerate when he was still with us. I really wish this hadn't happened. Bean didn't get into things like that, so I guess we just forgot that some dogs will.
Did someone leave a dog at your house? How sad that people won't take care of their pets.
Well hi, Jamie! (I suspected that your name wasn't Emily :)
The next door neighbor asked us if we'd watch him while they were gone. Even though I thought 17 days was a little to long to watch somebody's dog, I stupidly said yes. If I hadn't they planned on leaving him home alone with somebody to just come in a couple of times a day and let him out. I believe this to be cruel so I had to say yes. They were supposed to be back today but we haven't heard from them the entire time they've been gone and its 10:30. They have always made me upset because they let this dog run the neighborhood and he is a little dog. How he made it to 14 is beyond me. Tonight he found some mouse poison that my husband forgot was behind the couch and we had to pay $200 to make sure he didn't get sick from it.
Never again.
Yeah. I think that was in the same article. Kelly still seems to be pushing herself awfully hard. She's been on tour almost non-stop since this Spring. When her current tour ends, she goes to the UK, then supposedly will take a month off before going on a tour in Australia.
There's an interesting article about Kelly on mtv.com. Remember back when we were talking about whether or not Bo and Carrie can overcome the AI credibility issue in the industry? The MTV article is titled "When did Kelly Clarkson become hip," or something like that. Here's the link in case you're interested in reading it.
The reason all those people speak so highly of her in that article is because she's become a genuine phenomenon. Radio DJ's love her. 'Because of You' was just released as a single two weeks ago, and it's already shooting to the top of the charts. Her first three singles from the 'Breakaway' album all reached #1 on either the Billboard Hot 100, Pop 100 and/or Hot Adult Contemporary charts. The album is still in the top 10 nearly 10 months after it's release. It's by far the "oldest" album in the top 10. Somewhere I saw a stat that said she's sold over 5,000,000 units (2 albums and her singles) so far in the U.S., plus millions more overseas.
All this is an era when most albums have one, maybe two hit singles. 'Breakaway' looks like it's going to have four, maybe five if 'Addicted' is also released as a single.
She's scheduled to do two performances at the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday. They had a poll going somewhere on their site asking which scheduled performers the fans are most anxious to see perform. Kelly got 43% of the vote. All the other scheduled performers split the remaining votes.
With Kelly blazing the way, maybe Carrie and Bo will have less of a problem being taken seriously, after all.
Don't mind at all. I'll forward you the links/articles I send to Jonny the other day, and see the update on Kelly I posted here a couple minutes ago.
Bo's a good guy. I wish all the best for him.
The release date for Carrie's CD is Nov. 15, although these things are subject to change. Bo was going to try to have his album out this Fall, too, but obviously that won't happen now. So maybe he'll shoot for early next year.
Is the little guy a puppy or very young? That might explain the exceptional need for food and his getting into things. Also, small dogs have faster metabolisms. He may be burning up energy fast. Worms could be another explanation.
If they live long enough--sheesh!
I'm wore out just reading Kelly's schedule :) Her success is all because of her hard work and her God-given talent. This sets her apart from most of the pop-tarts out there.
Yes, that is the biblical spelling. :) My brother's middle name is David. I told my mom she was prophetic naming him, because he's such a pain he would have no friends but himself. Jonathan and David(bible friends) My brother and I tease each other mercilessly.
Yep, I was always too much of a tomboy to be called Emily. I chose that name because of the poem on my about page, it's one of my favorites.
He's 14. She lead me to believe that he didn't eat much. Maybe he just likes my house better. He use to come over and eat Bean's food. Bean never cared.
Hiya. (pssst - you have FReepmail) I've been doing laundry (now that I'm home!). Who got canned?
LOL! Yeah, ain't that the truth. I saw Carrie's commercial on TV. Very nice. I can see why your crush reasserted itself, grin...
Word is she's working with some top people in country music. Somewhere I saw a short quote from her saying that most of the songs she's recording are ballads, but there are some with attitude. Crossing my fingers for her, and Bo, of course.
Oh how cruel to treat him that way. Sorry for you and your husband. Hope you get the money back. Wonder what kind of parents these people are?
14 -- sigh, poor little guy. Well, at least a good appetite is a sign of health in old dogs.
I really have begun to like Kelly Clarkson. You are the reason for that. :) I never really listened to her until I read some of your posts on the AI threads. Thank you.
Yes, Bo seems nice, down to earth. I heard his neighbor talking on the radio this morning. He said Bo is upset because he feels he is letting his fans down. He said Bo is one of the nicest people and they hate to see him move. I'm not sure if they will right away, but Helena is a very small town and they said traffic has been crazy there since Bo won. Can you imagine? HAving people drive by your house all the time just to look at it? I guess people have been hoping to get a glimpse of him or something.
You have mail :)
If I ever have a son I think I'll name him Samuel--Sam for short. But David's a good one too.
