There being no mention, apart from Scrimgeour's, of a captured DE really bothers me. That guy is up to something. He is not just an inept, cheerleader-in-chief for the Ministry, a la Fudge. He's sinister.

Remember in OOTP, when the Order was sitting around the kitchen table the morning of Harry's hearing and Tonks said to be careful of Scrimgeour because he was asking too many funny questions? It was a casual mention, but here he is in book 6 as Minister of Magic. Hmmm.
