Watched his final back nine. ....quite a spectacle.
The greatest golfer of all time, without question.
And a gentleman.

Shame he didn't make the cut, but he still has a flair for the dramatic...he nailed a fifteen-foot downhill sharply-breaking putt on 18!

That was beautiful.
Birdied the first hole yesterday and the last hole today.
Went out like a champion.

A finally shed a tear when Watson starting losing it. Had chills for most of the last two holes.

Farewell Jack, a fierce competitor as well a great golfer. A class act guy.
LOL, I couldn't stand him when he first came on the scene and challenged my hero Arnie but eventually I had to admit he really was great.

He didn't retire from golf. AP should retract this headline.

I still think Hootie is going to convinve Jack to play a 'ceremonial round' next spring for the 20th anniversary of his last Masters triumph.

No question. All Jack said is this would be his last Open. He left the door open for one more Masters.

Jack also said before that he 'would not be a ceremonial golfer.'
And there is the probability that Hootie will ask him to hit the first tee shot at Augusta someday....

Thanks for the memories Golden Bear.
I may be only 29, but some of my earliest memories are of watching the tour on TV with JN, Trevin0, and Zoeller.
