My Mom is scared to death of horses. I don't know where my sister and I got our horse crazies from. Neither one of us were allowed to have a horse until we were grown and could buy them ourselves, so maybe that's why we wanted them so bad.

My mom, you just have to lover her. She talks about riding into town once a week in a wagon as a child. She never kept me from livestock. In fact I had all sorts of creatures around. She's just extremely nervous around some animals. I would say it was large animals, but my 25 lb dog sets her off also. I guess we need to look into a buckboard or maybe getting her drunk.
