Schools are the absolute WORST for spreading germs back to the homes of the little kiddies!

You ain't kidding.

Sadly, most parents don't give a fig about sending their sick kids to school to spread the germs. And since the school won't send them home unless they are stomach sick or feverish, every cold/cough/sniffle bug is spread like wildfire.

When I went grocery shopping yesterday, I had to grab a bottle of Triaminic for the girls. There were another 3 moms standing in that very spot comparing medicines for the same symptoms my girls have.

I grabbed the Triaminic and said "Don't bother with the others. This one is the best!" :-D

Heh. I stopped by the grocery store on the way home from werk. They had the economy-sized chlorox wipes by the door.

Joseph went to bed one night last year with a bad cough and running a fever. I didn't even bother to wake him up for school the next day. When I called to tell them he wouldn't be coming in, I said why, and my friend, Debbie, who works in the Admissions Dept. said "Thank you for keeping him home!"

There are so many in the high school who don't want to miss a day and have to do make up work, that they'll come in deathly ill and spread that joy to all the boys!

School is their child care, and they don't want to have to find a replacement at the last minute.
