Awwww....pick something fun!
Hey, you know what? My pool looks great, sparkling clean water. The only problems I have with it is that debris fell in it the other day when a storm blew through and it always has a bit of silt in the bottom that is just the way our dirt is...very silty and sandy. The filter pump picks up a lot but it still accumulates around the edges.
So I have this vacuum that attaches to a telescoping pole and my water hose. I don't know how it works exactly, but when I turn on the water hose, it causes the vacuum to draw up debris off the bottom and deposits it in a muslin bag that is tied on to it. It worked pretty good except it didn't pick up the silt, it just blew through the muslin.
So I got a hole in my muslin bag and it was blowing out chunks of leaves and debris and not working at all.
So I sat down and thinked about it, you know...
I came up with the idea of tying a knee-high stocking on in place of the muslin bag. It worked GREAT!!!!! It even caught the silt!! The pool looks absolutely spotless!
