Hi all! We're back!

After all this talk of mine about the Pacific never being quiet, today it was.... not a lot of surf. Dang! I've never seen it like this!

Ah well, we waded a bit in the water anyhow.

Was a beautiful day for a drive :~D

As usual after an adventure, we're beat! Gonna hit the couch in short order and put my feet up :~D

Hair's description of a calm ocean...

The Atlantic at Nags Head just hours after Hurricane Alex blew thru...

It's just a different world I reckon. If the surf was like it is in that top picture, the red flags would be out. 'Course a lot of it is based on the undercurrents and the rocks/reefs that you can't see. The OBX is known as "The Graveyard of the Atlantic" for all the ships that sank off the coast.
