Well, How are ya?
Evenin' everyone.
Well... I've been better.
Went to the doctor today. The details are better left unsaid, but the essential bit is that I've got a hernia. A pretty nasty one. To quote the nurse: "Yeow". :-)
So... I have an appointment for tomorrow with a surgeon. Dunno what will happen when after that.

Never had surgery before. It's an adventure.

If it's the...emm...usual sort of hernia, it's not that big of a deal, surgery wise. One of my brothers has had a reoccurring problem (should be taken care of, finally) and recently had hernia surgery. Other than being sore for a few days and having to avoid lifting much, he was fine.
