What do you think about this? You know we have all these people on the egroup that may or may not join BA CHEF and we have a whole slew of people that I know are NOT going to join. I thought about posting this...tell me what you think. Think they'll get the point?
Ladies,
Some of you may wonder why I started the CHEER egroup, but am no long a part of it. I will tell you why.
When I first started the CHEER egroup, I still had not made up my mind what I was going to do. I didn't know if I would be joining BA CHEF or CHEER or both!
When I finally decided that I would not be joining CHEER, I posted an email stating such and asked for someone to take over the ownership of the group from me. [A kind lady] kindly volunteered and I turned ownership over to her. Immediately afterward, I unsubscribed from the egroup.
Why did I do that? I could have stayed and waited for the moderators to remove me. But I knew that I wasn't going to be part of the CHEER support group. I didn't intend to pay the dues required. It did not seem proper or dignified to remain on an egroup where I wasn't a member and where I had no intention of becoming a member.
So that is why, even though I started the CHEER egroup, I am no longer part of it.

If you're posting that so they will unsubscribe, then you better just ask them to unsubscribe. :~D
Well, I know *some* people are definitely not going to join BA CHEF...but I don't know what the majority is going to do. Some very well may not know what they're going to do which is why I'm giving them till after the September Mom's meeting till I boot them off.
This is mainly geared at those that know. i just don't know who they all are.
I don't want to come across wrong to those that might still not know what they're going to do...
Do you have a smilie with a baseball bat to go with it? :)
Maybe you should add a request at the end that if they have made up their minds not to join your group to please unsubscribe.

But then again, them trying to get stuff by me is kinda fun and adds excitement to my life and the thrill of telling them to BIOTS so to speak in so many words...
Maybe I shouldn't say anything...it's just for a little longer.
You could wait until after the September date and then tell 'em to BIOTS.
You're too subtle 2J. You know how when you join an egroup, there are files automatially sent to the new member explaining things? What about adding your message to a file along with another message explaining that they are being removed from the group since they are/have not techincally joined (paid dues) BA CHEF, and that if they do wish to join the group they may re-subscribe once they have paid.

Here's what they get automatically when they unsubscribe and those that are not members will be unsubscribed after the mom's meeting Sept. 13th. Sis, I'm talkin' THAT NIGHT I'm cleaning house.
