Admittedly, there are going to be some hopping mad people who *ostensibly* wanted to belong to both groups, wanted us to change the date of our meeting and were not too happy that we had the meeting during the first meeting of the new group. Still, they had a choice and could have attended our meeting in order to vote what they felt. This was not an option with the other support group...no voting.
One of the reasons we had the meeting at the same time is because we were hoping to get committed BA CHEF leaders put in to place...we felt like that was more likely if we had it during their meeting...and we were right.
We got a treasurer, finally...she agreed only after speaking with the leadership of "Big CHEF" and assuring that someone from the umbrella organization was a co-signer on the account. This prevents the situation that occurred with the previous leadership just walking out and taking the finances with them.

They are great. Sleeping through the night so they must be comfortable here. We've been taking them for long walks since it's not so hot and we've had a bit of a break from that (long awaited and prayed for) rain. They go to the vets tomorrow for shots.

Good... Are you crating them at night? together or in separate crates? I've never dealt with ~two~ at a time.

They are in a crate together...until they get too big for it. We have a friend who has another crate and an outdoor kennel that he would sell us...I'm thinking it will be a good idea. Only problem with two is that they could get into the habbit of running together. Electric fence should take care of that once they get older.
Speaking of prayed-for-rain.... we're getting a little here this morning, and we really need it.

Groups politics can get so messy :P When they leaders start wearing tin hats then it is time to drop the axe.
At least you did not have to have them killed because they Know Too Much™.
At least my convention staff politics have been considerable less than that. Much less than last year even. Except this one punk who is single handedly make one one of my departments twice as stressful.
