Sounds like it depends on whether you value your TV.
Actually Jen... much as I like The Big Chill, and much as I feel like I've ~been~ a couple of the characters... I don't see you identifying with any of them. If you like sitting in a room listening to people talk, who aren't like you in any way then it might good theater. Actually... it sounds like the Hobbit Hole ;~D

Heh...the only part of Costner you see in
The Big Chill are his wrists and the stiches where they're sown up...as they're dressing the body.
He's the guy they're attending the funeral for. The flashback scenes were edited out.
