On the other hand...I've got all kinds of new kewl things to enter into a database. WooHoo!
Heh heh!!! I love it.
Yeah!!!! I won my auction! FINALLY got Joshua's Math Teacher's Edition. Nearly got sniped in the last 2 minutes but I prevailed!
But your boys know who you really are... out here, away from my family, I feel like I'm pretending to everyone. Of course I pretend to my family too because I don't want them to know how selfish and vain and silly I can be, but that's different.
Had to run to the store to get some aluminum foil.
I'm gonna do an experiment...wanna know what?
(It's not much.)
Um, tinfoil hats?
Ha ha!! I might do that for the kids, that'd be funny.
Like in Signs?
No, I'm going to attempt to make my own TV dinner tray. I love Swanson's sliced turkey tv dinner. The Hungry Man one. It has corn, mashed potatoes, stuffing and sliced turkey. It also has this brownie...it appears to be just raw frozen brownie mix in the little compartment.
So I saved one of those little black dinner trays and I'm going to mix up some brownies and put a little dab in there along with some sliced turkey of my own and corn and taters and stuffing too. Just to see if I can re-create it.
Then, if it works, I'm going to try it in aluminum trays (if I can find some at Sam's or something and then when I'm ready to cook for a day, eat for a month, I'll make myself a bunch of these up! They sure are handy, but I'm sure the Swanson's ones are prob'ly pure crap.
Cool! But are aluminum trays safe for the microwave? Doesn't tinfoil cause sparking?
I'd use the regular oven. I never was a fan of the way things warmed up in the microwave....frozen dinners and such. I use my microwave all the time, but not for stuff like that.
Ah, ok. I always just think tv dinner = microwave.
Just won an auction that said "Free Shipping" but when I try to check out, it tacks on a $3 shipping charge!
I asked for a total from the seller, mentioned PayPal was charging me for shipping.
Argh...why can't things go more smoothly??? Heh heh.
You've never had popcorn made on the stove...have you?
I've found tv dinners turned out still cold in some spots, overcooked in others when I used the microwave...but then again, I've never had a really good microwave, so maybe that was why...
Mmmm!! I may have to have some now...
Remember that time I bought that 50 lb bag of popcorn kernels and ate it? LOL! That has been gone a long time, now!
I get my popcorn at the local farm supply store, now...comes in 12 lb bags.
Heh, my dad has to buy a new stovetop popcorn pot every few years because his gets worn out. Or do you mean "jiffy-pop"? I've had that too, but I like microwave better.
I use a copper bottom skillet that nearly has all the copper on the bottom rubbed off from shaking it back and forth on the stove.
No, Jiffy Pop was a novelty. Never really good popcorn.
It's just the realization that you've probably never known life without a microwave.
I still get Jiffy Pop for the jedis now and then...causes a bit of a stir when it blows all up like that.
spammich?
