yah... up to now I've been a Dell sort of guy. But part of the reason I'm taking this one is to evaluate it as a possible new standard "ultralight" laptop for the company. Right now our standards are the IBM X40 and the Dell X300.

Ooooh, I'd pay good money to see that, and even more money to have a chance to do it myself. Details, please... FLW regs states that convoys can have no more than 6 vehicles, with the exception of the motor transport school... the regs also state that convoys must file a route overlay in advance, and radio Range Control to begin an end a convoy, and to occupy positions in the training area...
the MPs were running a convoy of 19 vehicles, had filed no route overlay, had not contacted Range Control... we followed them to their destination, and they hadn't called RC to open the area... this wasn't the first time this unit has pulled this kinda crap...
the SFC was surly, and tried to play dumb... when I asked him if he was in charge, he said "kinda-sorta"... I went off... beratin' him for his lack of integrity, and cajones...in front of his privates... I was havin' a DI moment, just let it go... he was slack jawed... as I walked away to cool off, my partner said I was a Marine... the SFC said "remind me never to f@#$ing piss him off again...
