New verse:

I like the Barbara BelGeddes option....but I guess that only works for murder weapons.
Or Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney Todd...
Seems an awful waste .. .
Such a nice plump frame
Wot's-his-name
Has...
Had . ..
Has...
Nor it can't be traced.
Business needs a lift
Debts to be erased
Think of it as thrift,
As a gift...
I hope to have a major announcment from Gerber by the end of the week. This could be hugh, folks.
And yet, with today's shipment, I'm struck by how paltry our little gifts are, in comparison with what is done by our troops that is never properly acknowledged. My shipment today included knives to a father and daughter heading for Afghanistan, and his son and his brother, already in Iraq. What can we give people like that who have already given so much to us?
Is there any way we can help with logistics in addition to helping with funding?
Thanks for the update! I really hope the Gerber...whatever-it-is...comes through!
I've been racking my brain trying to figure out a way, and I don't think it can be done.
However, I might take some of my non-knife work (putting the molle adapter on the sheaths, widening the slot in the diamond hones) in to work on my midnight shift. I have no doubt I'd be fired instantly if they saw a blade, regardless of who it was intended for. Heck, I'd be fired instantly if they ever looked in my briefcase, or made me empty my pockets.
I'm outta here. I got wrapped up in putting out fires over on a Virginia campaign thread.
One bogus poll. Five hysterical threads.
~sigh~
Where I work they do check briefcases. After 9/11 they instituted a 'look in whatever people carry in and out' policy. I call it the 'harass women with purses' policy. Kinda silly since I can hide far more stuff in my pockets than many purses can hold. Also if you come of go via any door that uses automated magnetic badge swippy things then they don't check anything. They also don't let people bring in cameras even though I could take shots with a company owned one and walk out with the memory card. If they ever look too close at my cellphone I could be in trouble :P
Industrial espionage time...
You have a Cone of Silence too, dontcha?
