I'm tending towards the grill outside option. Tuna is for weekday lunches (and the kitty.)
mmmm...grill....
I'd better get motivated and run my errands before it gets too hot out there.
See you all later!
Good morning everyone!
~Sip~
Going up to the beach house today.... dad wants to haul gravel in our truck...
Oh, hey, you recognized it.
When we were little we had this great tape with all these weird animal songs, and that poem, on it. We've looked everywhere for a copy since with no luck at all.
This payment was funded with a credit card. To accept this payment, you'll need to upgrade your account to PayPal Premier or Business. You will be charged fees on incoming payments.
So, I'm upgrading to a Premiere Account. I've got another item I'm going to list today and if I'm going to keep this up I might as well upgrade.
What new item are you putting up?
I upgraded my account a lot time ago, to receive payment for the banjitar when I sold that. I've never used it since, but I guess it's good to have just in case.
A cordless juicer! LOL It runs on (4) AA batteries, but has access for an AC adapter. It's brand new in box, never used. Got it for 59 cents.
It's not much, but I figure if I just keep it up, I can raise a little bit of money for the troops! And I remember when I was sending items to the troops in Afghanistan, every little bit helped!
Remember that woman in the garage sale heard me talking about it and gave me three dollars? Then when I went to ship the items I would have been a little less than $3 short had she not given me that little bit?
You're not going to put Puffy up for auction, are you?
How are the chickens today?
Heh...I know of a couple people who make a good chunk of income from reselling items from thrift stores and garage sales on eBay. They do it on a much larger scale than you're doing...but you're right, every little bit adds up.
They're doing fine...look just fine. Puffy has amazingly ignored Isabelle. Not one bit of strife.
I changed out all their feed. They have a good appetite, so I think they're going to be ok. It rained like crazy here yesterday and they all stood right out in it.
Once you have this down, you should try running three or four auctions at a time! Or would the stress be too much?
Poor little chickens!
Has Puffy reformed?
Steve took the jedis swimming. Now's the time to work on it.
Hey, I won one of Joshua's hardback readers for school! Won the auction, I mean. Got a $23 book for $4.99 including shipping! Praise the Lord, Oh my soul! It's the second of a two book set, each costing $23. The auction for the first of the set ends this evening and it's currently going for 3.99 including shipping!
Woohoo!
Heh...I don't know...this is pretty stressful. But once I got over the unknown Paypal fee thing, I was a lot less stressed.
See, that's where not knowing math is a handicap. I knew there was a fee but had no idea how much it would be and didn't know how to figure it.
It ended up being 75 cents for the sprouter, which sold for $11.50.
Auctions are too stressful for me! I've won things from eBay over the years, but for the most part, I just can't handle the waiting. Sad, I suppose.
I do get a lot of good deals on Amazon - though the used books and music features, and from half.com. Fixed prices. The deals aren't as good as you can sometimes get at auction, though.
But I did get a nifty CD of mandolin music (found out about the artist from a thread here at FR, actually) for under four bucks shipped. Something like $3.75. That isn't bad! Not as good as a twenty three dollar book for five, though, I admit.
Found a "Patio Tower", brand new in box, but it was at Goodwill which is more expensive...$4.99. I don't know if I could get that much on eBay for it, but I guess it's about $15 brand new.
Like this one.

Remember to emphasize how great it is for tailgate parties, picnics, or dorm rooms. :)
Thanks for the tip!!!
Here's how it looks!

I'm at the library. Printed up a shipping label...just a plain label from a word processor and also printed up some thank you notes to insert in my items.
This is fun!
