Wait around twenty posts and you can have twos.
Found a Catholic Church that's close to where Gina's husband works, so we're going tomorrow, and it is Japanese only. That will be fun!
We're going to a Mexican restaurant tonight.
I have a great recipe for a salad. It is sliced cukes, sliced tomatoes and onions (or you can cube them)and the dressing is 1/2 cup of rice vinegar, 1/2 tsp. black pepper and a teaspoon of sugar. Yum stuff!
Mmmm. Tiramisu!
When I was about 12, we had a slumber party at my cousins's house. Sometime in the night, we saw a hand holding a flame, like from a cigarette light outside the window. We woke up my aunt and uncle with the screaming. We found out the following day that it was a couple of friends or ours, some boys in my sister's class at school. We jumped em and beat the crap out of them. One of them ended up marrying a younger cousin of ours, and we still give him hell about that!
Tokyo funkle!
I'm off to get more blueberries this morning. I already have a bunch in the freezer so I'm going to dry some of this new batch and make fruit leather with the rest. I love blueberries.
Mornin' Suzi (or evenin' or whatever it is for you now). Glad you're havin' a good time and that you had enough time to funkle.
Wife spent a summer teaching English in Japan. She attended and played the piano for a Christian church where everything was in Japanese. They would give her the name and number of the hymns in English. She would play while they sang in Japanese.
One morning one of the hymns written on the list was "Peace Like a Liver."
mmmmmm....blueberries...
We slept in here. I woke up coughing at 6:00 and almost went on to Lowes from there. But was able to stop coughing and sleep some more.
Here I am, in the Hole with my buds. Hi Suzi!!!
Steve's gone. Left early this morning to go to his office and work on his paper. Said he might be home by 5pm. Said he should turn it the final draft by the end of next week or the beginning of the week after.
The sprouter auction ends today...it's still got 9 people watching and it's still going for $10.50. It ends in about 8 hours.
Steve fixed the truck!! Yippeee!! Come to find out it was nothing more than a bad connection between the battery and the jobber that clamps on to it...he just filed it a bit, hooked it back up and wah-lah! So we're going to Walmart and he says "You know, Ted (a co-worker) mentioned I should try filing it on Monday." I got a little grumpy about that but not much...I was too relieved it wasn't gonna cost us like 10 million dollars to fix.
So I'm going shopping here in a bit!
"So I'm going shopping here in a bit!"
I should say "thrift store" shopping here in a bit...need to try to find another item to sell!
It sounds like a thrilling adventure! The whole thing! The earthquake, the Japanese Catholic Church! It should be ok, though, huh? I mean, you'll be able to follow along during the service?
How exciting it all sounds!! To be off seeing the world!
Hello in Tokyo!
Morning! [sip]
Gonna be a hot one today. I've got things watering, I'm hanging out with the cat and having more coffee. I haven't quite re-adjusted to central time yet.
How very cool! Hope you're having a great time.
By the way, why is it you've gone halfway around the world and your posting time hasn't changed?
We attended a Catholic funeral once that was all in Korean. The grandfater of a friend.
We were totally lost.
er...grandfather...
