Heh...my last shop supervisor in the Air Force turned 40 within a day or so of the squadron Christmas party, so in front of the whole squadron we gave him a ton of gag gifts: black balloons (latex...sorry, Ruthy!), Depends, Metamucil, even a cane, I think. He was a good sport about it.

Now...it doesn't seem all that far off.

Can't have been very long ago.

I'm hitting a landmark number next year. *sigh* I know, it's not that big of deal, and it's just a number, but I thought I'd have a bunch of kids by now.

At least by then I'll have a niece or nephew. I'm really looking forward to that, though I wish I wasn't so far away!
