Well, that lets me out of the running. They easily hacked my Yahoo. (still sounds like a chocolate drink to me). Of course, I imagine it wasn't much fun for them since it took me a week to even notice! (OK, so I still think its funny!)

I tried to figure what would bring on Undie's stroke. His surgery was 4 weeks ago, his fever was reportedly 102 (not high enough, I don't think), and I've never heard of chemo or radiation causing this.

Hubby told me me to quit thinking logically!

Unfortunately we have lost a member of the family in the last week. It was entirely before his time. He was my wife's sister's husband and has been a very close friend to me and "Toots" for a quarter of a century. He is survived by 3 children and 7 grandchildren. We are still in shock, but have dealt with the all of the legal problems and after today we will start to put it behind us and look to the future.

 

I would like to thank all of my friends here for their support as you guys have made it a heck of a lot easier for me. It has kept my mind from dwelling upon all of the negatives that always come to the surface in times like this.

Yep! Now if I could get my Mother in Law to see it that way and go home, we would be a lot better off.

 

Bless her heart, I know she means us the best, but she has to be the center of attention, which is very hard for my sister to take.

 

Between the 2 couples, we have been together a total of 32 and 26 years respectively. We moved to Idaho together in the early 80's when Oregon started to be the bastion of the left wing, so have been thru thick and thin together.

 

"Toots" and my sister are nearly inseparable as they both have worked at Litehouse Salad Dressing for longer than they care to admit. It is actually a fantastic place for the ladies to work. I tried working there after my second back surgery, and 9/11 put the kibosh on my printing and advertising business. I got fired out of inventory control when they made a guy my boss who couldn't find his butt with both hands and a flashlight. They do have excellent benefits, and as I am insured thru the wife, (way to much money to insure thru the ranch) it has really saved us.

 

We are having a wake this afternoon so hopefully all of the morons and their good intentions can head back to the 4 corners of the country and we can return to some form of our usual lifestyles. I think "Toots" is going to move in with "Sis" so the transition will be a little easier for a few weeks. This is the 3rd husband she has had to "plant".

 

Looks like I'm batchin it for a while, so come on out and we'll let Ben and Goodboy know where they can find us. If they are in Seattle it will only take them 6 hours to come over and get some North Idaho hospitality. Around here we are all still armed and dangerous........LOL

Gosh, I'm sorry to hear you lost a good friend and family member, Allosaurs_r_us.
