I'm living up to my nickname tonight and turning more black and blue by the hour. We're getting a rug for the front of the shower so when there's a little water, that doesn't happen again. I'm lucky I didn't break the glass to the shower.
If you have some white vinegar, soak a cloth in it and wrap or put it on the bruised areas. It should lessen the black and blue. It's just a miracle you didn't break something. White vinegar applied to a bruise will lessen the bruise.
