Wheeeeeeee!!!

I'm home, all work completed ... and don't have to go back to the office until Monday, July 11! WOOHOO!!! That doesn't mean that I won't be doing any work ... while we are gone next week, we will be in frequent contact with the office, will be checking voice mail and email and responding, hubby will be on the phone a lot, etc. But it will be a welcome break from the normal routine.

I'm so exhausted I told hubby I might just sleep all day tomorrow ... LOL!

Now on to important stuff ...

Just got an email from an organization I'm not familiar with but I like their mission and message and thought I would pass it on ... with the caveat that I don't know how I got on their email list and it could be bogus though it doesn't seem to be.

The group is named Progress in America (PFA) and they have a website ... www.UporDownVote.com. On the website they have a GREAT ad that you can view if your computer will allow.

A newscaster is relating that Ben Franklin has been nominated to the Supreme Court but that opponents bring up his ties to the energy industry. And when George Washington's name is submitted he is opposed by environmentalists for chopping down cherry trees.

Apparently this group is going to have an extensive ad campaign through various media to promote having up-or-down votes on judicial nominees.

If anyone is familiar with this group, please speak up and vouch for them. They claim to be the "leading conservative issue advocacy organization in America". At any rate, they have produced a very amusing ad ... :-)

Have you eased back on your other medication as you intended. Is that why you're needing the alleve?

Good night, lysie and y'all. I'm calling it an EARLY nite.

Peach - that AP report has me angry and if you didn't see Beth & Jug on Scarborough, try to catch the replay. Jug said that if the three are released on Monday, he will tell all he and Beth know and that we will all be devasted.

The reporting...charged with murder, not charged with murder...makes my head hurt. I do NOT know how the parents have been able to hold it together like this. It's a wonder. Good night.

I can't answer you, because I have gone to bed...lol. I mostly taped boxes for husband's remaining stuff. I did, however, find $70 in a drawer of a dresser I was securing with twine!

I went to the dr today, I have tendonitis in my Achilles tendon. However, it is responding to heat, ice, and propping. I'm also taking an anti-inflammatory. It does feel better daily, I was hoping there was nothing seriously wrong.

I'm being really shallow and watching What not to Wear on TLC. yikes, this woman has black extensions in her hair. Her real hair is like three inches long. it is the worst looking hair I have ever seen. It is matted and awful. Nick, the hairstylist, is sooo diplomatic. He brushed the rats out and if possible, the contrast between the real hair and the extensions is accentuated. He did his best, but it still looks awful. That is the end of my shallow report...

I am also looking for new luggage. I want something that is colorful so that I can find it when I pick it up from the airport carousel. I found fluorescent pink tropical flowered, a pretty bohemian style with different blocks of printed fabrics in fall colors, or a purple brocade tapestry style. However, neither gives the denier count so I'm off to search some more.

The count of how close the material is woven together on the outside of a suitcase. 1200 is a good count. If I don't come back, everyone have a great Fourth of July celebration!!!

Smaller and you won't be tied up long getting your pup out of there. There are several motels by the airport, Holiday Inn, etc and of course, the casino motels all over the place.

All day huh? sounds like a plan is going to have to come together for sure. I will be contacting you soon about those 'secret plans'

I 'guess' this is good news about the tendonitis. It's going to be an aggravation and an inconvienence, but other than that it's repairable.

Wish I could have slept last night, am I tired.

We had one big ole storm last yesterday afternoon, saw it coming while cutting the grass with the tractor and made it to the shed just as it started to rain. I wasn't to happy about sitting under the metal roof shed as it was lighting like mad.
