Hey DD...Sylvia and Sue tell me you got screwed on Saturday's race placement. I got there too late for your heat race but you didn't start on the pole? I got there just in time on Sunday to watch Jeff Lo do his airshow routine. SCARY!!
It was great putting a face to the FReeper posters. See ya'll next year (and on FR, of course).
Relentless was awesome, I was kind of disappointed at John Sharpe's speed.
Big Boss Man's metal detector started to blink on Saturday and when it went to full on, Mike maydayed. Turned out to be a false indicator and he raced on Sunday.
Jon Sharpe kept reporting a vibration that was never found. I'm sure he will get it sorted out before next year. He's that kind of a thorough R&D guy.

Ok, so I saw hattend's legendary powered-mixer...but feel I'm still owed product(i.e., a Marguarite) as the the bowl was conspicuously empty after I fought my way to the Box Seats...
And all FReepers will have to fantasize as to what went on in the biplane pits twix DD, kilowhsky, and this Redneck 'tween the races :)

Jon Sharpe had a gear door flutter. It had happened before - and they can't find the problem.
Danny Martin burned a piston on Lap 3 of the gold.
Jeff Lo got a ten on his half snap roll on Pylon 5. I spoke to the Pylon Judges - they said they RAN when they saw him coming - he's lucky to be alive - and he knows it.
The disappointment of Strega, VooDoo and Fury not racing was the second worst disappointment of the weekend. Yes, I got screwed by the ever changing rules on Saturday.
I had a blast - and will be coming back!

We had a small breaking in mistake which is why you probably didn't get to see the blender in action. I apparently overfilled the oil reservoir and I was smoking everybody out of the box next to us.
I poured out about 4 oz of oil and the thing ran like a top on Saturday and Sunday. Sorry you missed out...the mudslides and margies were awesome!
See you all again next year and if you missed the races this year, you missed out big. The rumour for 2006 is Dago will be back!!!! But da Bear ain't scared.

Thank you - all of you - for being such terrific FRiends at the races. I had a GREAT time until things turned back for me on Saturday and worse on Sunday. But, I have been apologized to a thousand times for Saturday's screw up - but no one can fix Sunday's mishap.
I'm headed down to the memorial this weekend and will continue to fly safely in dedication to her and her life's work.
