Yeah, that line broke me up the first time I saw it.

This "Rob G" is a "fable crusader" or "truth seeker" or one of those internet cults.

I weep for the intellectual acuity of Rob G myself.

"Intellectual acuity" in the context of Rob G. is an oxymoron, (with emphasis on the moron).

He's definitely got his blinders in a bunch.

Rob G. has a self-inflicted, mortal, blinder wedgie wound.

Rob G. is a mental midget....

If Rob G. is a mental midget, what does that make a luminary such as Spitfire?

"sfexpat says they raised a little over $51,000. "

Her word means nothing. Just because she says they raised a little over $51,000 doesn't make it so.

Dirty ben is laying the groundwork for a new round of fund-raising

Maybe he is going to be in charge of the books this time.

I was thinking maybe a "mental paramecium" but I thought I might be giving him or her too much credit.

You know, this concept of internet "cults" never occurred to me until the Andyites--and for a while, I thought the Andyites were an anomaly, a rarity, a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon.

Then we started bumping into these "fable crusaders" and "truth seekers"--I can't tell the difference between them, but perhaps their "insiders" know the differences--and I went, whoa.....

And then being pursued on the internet (and in real life) by the one DUmmie--whether a "fable crusader" or "truth seeker," I can't tell--well, that blew my mind away.

If he had wanted to know who I am, all he had to do was ask me directly, instead of going through underhanded methods; if it had been done honestly and openly, it's possible I would have invited him to come up to the prairies to admire the land and look at some excellent bison.

Usually the direct approach is best.

Actually her word means less than nothing. All the donations went directly to Andy, thus only he knows how much was raised and how it was spent.

Sexpat can keep up her little "Keeper of the Books" charade, but she looks incredibly stupid doing it.

You notice the same question, 'does he need more money' and ben replying, 'he's broke' again on this new thread? Apparently, they don't want the dissents to be seen with these questions. It might turn potential donors off.

Dirty ben is laying the groundwork for a new round of fund-raising. Well, you have to give them some points for foolhardiness, I suppose

Very subtle also. He's broke.... the po box is on the web site... good one dirtyben

benburch (1000+ posts) Thu Jun-30-05 04:43 PM Response to Reply #5 9. He might soon need money. I know he is pretty much broke. What we raised for his surgery is long since spent on his medical care, and clearly he is in no position to work.

Note the WE in that statement. DirtyBen was one of the first accusers.

Obviously the beloved DUmmie "termite" isn't about to take out a home-equity loan on the mansion to help his partner.

Yeah, they're a lot of them out there. I still haven't learned what a fable crusader is but it's not high on my priority list either.

Between the Andyites, the Truth Seekers, and the gossip surrounding the Cruise/Holmes situation, I've got my fill of cult watching.

Again, I am left wondering: Where is William Rivers Pitt (if that is his real name)? And why hasn't he been weighing in on these recent developments?

Surely if a new round of fund-raising is afoot, WillPitt will want to be leading the way, as he was before. Has anyone seen WillPitt post a comment on the latest benburch Andy threads?

Where's WillPitt?
