The flies are biting like crazy today. I've just come in for a rest & drink. I've looked everywhere and I can't find any repellant, it's probably in somebody's fishing tackle box.

Home from the clinic - rereading yesterday's posts. Can't remember the year of that tornado - late 50's though. It didn't do damage in the town, did get some out buildings between your town and Olds I think. But what I remember most is the straw in the telephone pole. It has been so long ago that I don't remember whether it was in town or on the outskirts. Some local people at the restaurant told us about it and we went to see. I can't imagine the force and pressure those tornaodes generate!!!

Friends called from Spencer this morning to say they were in their basement a good part of yesterday. Hope the storms are gone for awhile!
