For probably about 5 minutes preparation!
They sure beat listening to the jet dryers :o)
Right. Okay. Right after the crash last night, I had to walk away from the tv. I kept going back, waiting for the flag to change, but I missed the final racing to the finish since there was really only a lap to go.
LOL
Nope. All work on the car must stop, whether it's on pit road, behind the wall, or on the track.
One addendum; during a rain delay, crews can put car covers on the cars.
If this thing ran full race when would it end?
I thought Lisa Marie was a fox. Not a bad voice, not great. But she had that look on her face and attitude of daddy. Ok, the song stunk. It is a sulky look the dad was famous for (Don't be cruel). Great potential with nice legs (hey, give me a break, i'm a guy).
Seems like end of the longest line would be an OK penalty to pay. Like last night when the big one came with only a handful of laps left. If you could get your otherwise dead car back out on the track.
RUMMY RUMMY RUMMY!
RUMMY on NBC NOW!!!!
Since 1948 and back at Soldier Field in Chicago, he's been a stock car racing fan.
Quick interview about how he got interested in stock-car racing.
They're set for racing 400 miles...a nightime run at Daytona
The left hates NASCAR with all its might and its patriot persona
A man is gonna step to the mic...he's someone that they really don't like
Today's the day that Rummy shouts "Start your engines!"
In the deep Underground of RATS they're gonna be apoplectic
We'll have such fun as we're mocking them and won't be apologetic
A man is gonna step to the mic...he's someone that they really don't like
Today's the day that Rummy shouts "Start your engines!"
It is really an awesome sound...the technology is profound
Those great engines can run and run...who cares about their MPG?
Close to red line they're pushing them...they will do it time and again
Some quick pit stops we'll see, we will see...these are really efficient men
Some may say there is too much smog...they can't breathe, neither can their dog
They are such girly men, those men...they ought to be living in France
From the left we have heard enough...it is always the same old stuff
When we know that they watch, when they watch, we'll bend over and drop our pants
The drivers really must concentrate...there's danger at any minute
They love their car and they know the risk...each time that they're getting in it
A man is gonna step to the mic...he's someone that they really don't like
Today's the day that Rummy shouts "Start your engines!"
In the pre-race interview
The Secretary says the drivers are pros at what they do
Like our soldiers bearing arms...let's say a prayer that they are all avoiding harm
Finally, he must make it clear...there is one thing tonight he promises we won't see
There will not be a slob who's drunk driving and flies off of a bridge
No water torture from Kennedy

I was wondering if Rummy was going to wait out the rain delay.... Go Rummy!
Rummy says it better start SOON!!
So it will.
I agree Lisa Marie was pretty good considering the fast action to get that together after the rain stopped. She always does these kind of weird songs though, I guess she wants to have her own style.
I'll never forget being at my dad's house when Elvis died. He was so crushed because he had tickets to Elvis's next show. I remember watching him toss them on the table saying they were "no good." I think he threw them away.
Anyway, does the fact that Lisa Marie married Michael Jackson ever make her less attractive to a man? Probably not is my guess, but I'm just curious.
Thanks Doug. Damn, your good.
