I liked J. Geils before they had "hits" and went to poppy.
I can only imagine the rowdiness at a Nugent-AC/DC show! ;o)
Did I miss that one??
It was overwhelming.
A crowd that was there for the music.
Not the "party"
I saw lots of the big names who played 60 minutes to a stoned out crowd.
Bruce and his fans connected.
Rosalita at 1:00 AM with every house light on..............
and every rocker singing along.........exhausted but engaged..............
I miss the E-Street Band.................
Did you like the song "Behind the Wall of Sleep"?
Oh boy. Some good ones in there! Gang of FOur and the Clash I would have loved to see. Saw REM in 1989. They kinda stunk, IMO!
Hot August Nights?
Sorry, I have a reputation to preserve.. :o)
Either way, I'm confused! ;o)
Yeah, I liked Geils of the 70s, by early 80s not so good...
How much $$$ for a membership?? ;o)
REM was the opening act. They had just released their first album.
You gotta admit, there is a resemblance! ;o)
I'm rescinding the offer. I don't think you can afford it. ;-)
Oh waht a great double bill that must have been! Tull and PBBB. WOW
Did you wear your best dress for the show??
Yes! The Clash woulda been awesome!
ANd Elvis Costello too, as long as he stick with Rock & Roll and doesn't try to get too fancy! ;o)
I hadn't noticed it before, but yeah ;~D
Actually, that friend in red, in blue eye shadow, reminded us of the poltergeist clown when she was, er.... ~partying~ ;~D
Occurs just before the National Championship Air Races! (WooHOO)
I still like Rosalita and some tunes from his 1st couple of albums!
It was OK. I think I preferred some of there less "pop" like tunes though. ;o)
