There's also a copy of the 10 commandments in the courthouse, or so I heard on TV last night. I also heard the reporter say that the county judge said that if the county got sued over the commandments, they'd take them down. Of course, the reporter could've misrepresented the county judge's quote, but I was slightly appalled to hear it.

I am appalled as well. We are in a community where churches outnumber cats and, yet, a judge would buckle that easily to pressure.
