When I go to edit my profile, on the bottom box it says:
Advanced: < DIV STYLE="your CSS here"> (Experimental)
Just curious to know what all that means.
Any of you know the answer to this question? I'm not sure what it means, and I was kinda curious about it when I did my profile page too.
Of course, the first thing we'll need to know is:
Are you logged in?
Is your beeber stuned?
Honestly, I have no idea. It may have to do with the color scheme you've set up for your home page, but I have no earthly idea.
Ask RDB3; he knows everything "techie".
LOL!
Is that what's allowing you to keep that same font and have the "rdb3" sign at the bottom? Or do you just manually?
Also, I have another question if you can help me here: How do you reply to a lot of people? Do you always have to paste them into to the recipient box manually, or is there an easier way?
No, CSS has nothing to do with that. The code I use is saved in a text file. I simply copy it in my replies.

That depends. If you know the usernames you want to ping, add a semi-colon behind each name. People with ping lists save those names in the correct format. For example, if I want to ping you and myself, in the "To:" box I'd type "rdb3; USAfearsnobody."
We'd both get the reply.
Cascading style sheets
The DIV tag is the "Division" Html tag used commonly for applying a CSS(Cascading Style Sheet) to a section of a page.
And while we're on the subject of 'all things Newbie',
how do I italicize when referencing a line or paragraph in a post I am responding to?
Thank you!
Put the text you want italicized between these...
< I> < /I>
Take out the spaces just after the <
Dont forget that once you use code, the whole comment needs to be coded. use < P> between individual paragraphs. (again, take out the space)
What trussel said :). It takes some practices to get it right everytime, first time so until then, preview is your friend.

for example...I marked up my comment thusly(sans spaces in the tags).
< i >how do I italicize when referencing a line or paragraph in a post I am responding to?< /i >< p >

Great help on "CSS"....see #7. Lets go over this together babe. Looks like we could learn a few things.
Does anyone here actually use the CSS feature on their profile page? I've tried, it don't work for me. I've used CSS when designing web pages, but I can't get it to work for me on the profile page. Anyone here have any luck with it?
