What does Deimos mean in human? :o) (Is it Latin or Greek or something?)

To translate from Greek to human [;-)], Deimos mean "panic" or "terror." Deimos and Phobos ("fear") were the sons of Ares/Mars, the god of war (and also the names of the moons of Mars). There is a kitten named Phobos, too - he was adopted by my next-door neighbors. (Yes, they're rescue kitties, and in all probability Phobos is Deimos's brother.)
