In a continuation of the 'heat thing' about 2 weeks ago I was taking paychecks out to 3 of my employees (they are usually scattered) who were finishing up a job and the last part was to pour and finish 13 yards of concrete.
When I pulled up at 10:30 the last truck was there, and since the customer wanted to drive on asap, the employee in charge had ordered 2% calcium in the concrete to speed it up. It was 96 with no wind and the last load was getting away from them, so all of a sudden, I'm floating this pour. It was setting up so fast they couldn't handle it. I'm 58 yrs old and don't really neeed to be floating concrete in 96 degree weather, but you do what you have to do.

So Andy wants to know about Scott Ritter. Now as I recall, internationally best-selling author William Rivers Pitt happened to co-author a book with Scottie. So I wonder if Pitt, who must be good buddies with both Scottie and Undie, will chime in here on Undie's thread? Whaddya think?
Anyone? Anyone?

(Or maybe Pitt wants to steer clear of any association with the both of them right now.)
To: Charles Henrickson
If Pitt chimes in that would negate the self imposed restraining order Pitt has to keep 100 yards away from Undie!

I am going to demand full accountability here like a Pitbull. dirtybenburch demanding "full accountability" is the height of hypocrisy.
How about demanding "full acountability" from the Mendacious Mendicant, Undie Stephenson?

I got no links and don't remember the exact details, but didn't Ritter and Pitt collaborate on a book, and then Ritter ran off with all the "profits"?

I don't think Andy will be very interested in Scott's dossier.

I haven't heard about Ritter ripping Pitt off. But if you can't trust a pedophile these days, who can you trust?

William Rivers & Streams Pitt:
The book wound up as a New York Times and international bestseller, and got translated into twelve languages. I received no royalties despite the success of the book; my publisher, in an attempt to stave off the Iraq invasion, published the book in numbers that far exceeded his financial capacity. We gave copies away at the massive Washington D.C. protests by the fistful. In the end, this led to the bankruptcy of his publishing company. I didn't care about not getting paid. The point was to get the facts out as far and wide as possible.

You know, I can't figure out how much "profits" are in these books, but man, the way the DUmmie Kevin Malice (or whatever) carries on about Bev Harris, some book about computers and voting must have a marketing potential of millions, millions, millions.
Huh?
These books sell like hotcakes?
I think with the advent of desktop publishing and all that, it's just easier and less expensive, to put out books these days, usually those things about 4" wide and 8" tall, paperback, maybe a quarter, a half, an inch thick--and so perhaps one can break even (with intensely vigorous "marketing), or maybe even clear a few bucks, but as to making mountains of money, nah.

As long as there are loony leftists who think that The Man is silencing them, or that they're being "kept down" by "The Establishment," then these pathetic one-sided polemics will continue to be sold.
Or, as in this case, supposedly "given away." Right. "We just wanted the truth to get out there." Suuuuure. In other words, "Once the MoveOn officers and the NY Times staff bought a few copies, we couldn't sell any more, so we had to start giving them away. We didn't want them piling up in the Dollar Bargain Bins at Borders."

The book co-authored by Pitt and Ritter is called,
War on Iraq: What Team Bush Doesn't Want You to Know.
I look forward to Pitt's next book, Score on a Crock: What Team Andy Didn't Want You to Know.
