I think it was something about Andy asking Ben to call him, there might have been more as it had been edited by Andy before I saw it.

Did you see it before Andy edited it?

Now why would that be deleted? Because Andy called kster a "diciple" of Bev? Nah, that is done all the time. Maybe it had something to do with his instructions to burch?

Quite peculiar.

No, I did not. It seems Andy is never to ill to get in on a Bev Bash, though.

SluggoJD on Malloy is not a FReeper, he makes that obvious. He is an admitted lefty and he is defending Bev. He wants the Bev bashing to end. He's got Rob G. shut up on the To Ben Burch and Andy Stephenson thread. Ben's getting played by both Andy and SluggoJD.

What SluggoJD is saying might have something to do with Andy's post number 10 getting deleted.

The thread is locked at DU, could it be a clampdown on Bev bashing??

These days, since I doubt practically everything certain DUmmies say, I thought I'd do a little research on Harborview, the "welfare hospital" Andy is too good for. I'd already done some research about their stroke center (one of the finest in the nation and on the cutting edge of research) for my father-in-law. They are the University of Washington Med School's hospital. Were one to get cancer, one might have a small chance of survival since, according to their website:
"UW Medical Center is an internationally recognized referral and treatment center. You don't need a doctor's referral or a complex kind of cancer to see some of the world's leading cancer experts here. We offer everything from initial consultation and second opinions to comprehensive treatment, patient support services, and follow-up care."

And while I certainly understand someone of Andy's stature and importance (I mean if the GOP needs to stop him in his tracks before he can run for office, become SOS for Washington state and turn the whole darn world into a liberal wonderland...think Neverland Ranch but with more drugs, cussing, and tutus, while Andy and the Andyliners jet set around the country allowing their minions to genuflect before them for a small fee), needing the "best care available" which can be found ONLY at JH, Harborview or UW Medical Center is part of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance a rather prestigeous institution in the Pac NW, though I don't know the ratio of cockroaches to silverfish. They do have a complete interdisciplinary team just for treating Pancreatic Cancer and participate in clinical trials as well.

Regardless of cocroach infestation, they were voted (for the 11th year in a row), the "nation's best primary-care medical school by U.S. News & World Report." While none of this would help Andy's poor, thrice mis-diagnosed pancreas...it houses the area's only LEVEL I burn and trauma centers in a 4 state region: WA, AK, MT & ID. Given the cleanliness necessary in burn centers they must require the swath of cockroaches and silverfish to bath in hydrogen peroxide and betadine before wandering the halls. In addition to a top notch stroke, burn and trauma center, they're also recognized for their excellent neuroscience center (even recently acquiring a gamma knife), spine center, orthopaedic reconstruction, std/hiv treatment and sleep disorders.

However, they only allow cell phones and lap tops in the waiting rooms on the ICU ward...none in patient rooms, so clearly that wouldn't have worked in this situation since the poor little 2nd tier Andyites and minions were waiting with breathless anti-ci................................
........................pation, for a phone call, a word, a show tune...anything to let them know their hero survived the removal of a golf ball sized tumor (a fact only mentioned weeks after surgery)...one of those niggly little details EVERYONE else who has experience with tumor removal knows right away because even the doctors talk about that almost before anything else. But, of course, everything else being different about Andy's case, one can't expect to know those things mere mortals would care about. At any rate, it seems, though bug-infested and crawling with Washington's impoverished and unwashed (liberal's want to make them depend...uh, HELP them, NOT rub shoulders in the same facility) Harborview would most likely be suitable for the rest of us.

Sounds reasonable to me. I mean, if I lived in AndyLand, lol.

Great post, gardencatz.

However, I do intend to see all of Mr. Stephenson's tax and fundraiser filings, and will quickly point out any fraud I see. And just as quickly point it out if I find nothing out of order.

Thank you for catching that, sir.

There's a lot of "codespeak" going on in DUmmieland among the Andyites--and I'm sure it's driving the Head Warden "Skinner" nuts--because just like the Democrats can't have honest and open elections in Cleveland, Milwaukee, Chicago, Philadelphia, Seattle, &c., &c., &c., the Andyites can't conduct an honest and open fund-raiser, and so they have to resort to superfuge.

Just like that mysterious reference the red round one made to "William Pitt" some months ago, about "a writing project."

Apparently a slow day in ASS. But despite that, I had a good day. Got out the convertable, a lady and I journeyed to my daughters house to play with my new granddaughter, then on to an excellent supper at a very nice establishment in a small river town. Very good day indeed.

You know, that reminds me of when I was in college, and shortly thereafter, used to take care of $400,000 mansions in Lincoln, Nebraska, during the absence of their owners.

These people usually had pets, and it was cheaper to pay me $10 a day to live in their homes, than to pay circa $20 a day to board the dog, $15 a day to board the cat, at a veterinary, besides that the pets were not discomfitted by being away from home.

Not a bad life--although in the end, home is always best--where one had unlimited access to the cupboards, liquor cabinets, automobiles, of the place; although one felt rather stupid at times, driving an Italian vehicle where the doors opened upward, making the thing look like an absurd butterly with wings.

Anyway, if there was a dog, the dog usually needed walking.

During political campaigns--this was an integrated neighborhood, with superrich Democrats and middling-wealthy Republicans--whenever the dog indicated a certain need to spread some scumber, I carefully leashed him towards a lawn bearing a yard-sign for a Democratic candidate.

Right, a slow day here.

However, one suspects a busy week lies ahead.

I stayed inside all day, despite the heat (95-100 degrees) here in Nebraska; for whatever reasons, the prairie sun is rough on this skin--one avoids getting sunburnt, but because of the fair skin, one cannot really get suntanned either, to where being out in the sun is comfortable.

It has been very hot here in STL, and the humidity is high, but no rain for some time. I play in a golf league on Fri. afternoons. When I pulled into the parking lot Friday at 4:00 the readout in my Blazer said 99. So I was out in that from 4:20-8:30. Stayed in all day Sat. but just had to get the Miata out today.

I know what you say about fair complection. I'm blond (well now it's silver I guess) and blue eyed, so I really don't tan that well.
