I had on SPF 30 two weeks ago, roasted to a crisp on my left wrist and the back of my neck.
Oddly, nowhere else fried despite being in the sun more than my left wrist and the back of my neck.
(Never burned before I got mono in 1997. Burned often since then, and burned weirdly too.)

Banana Boat makes an spf 50. It is great. I have history of skin cancer in the family and I am very fair. I have to try not to get tan at all.

I used to get dark enough that I could have fit in at downtown Samarra.
Now I'm lucky if I can pull off even a slight offpale tone.

I used to tan like that to. I had to work at it and get a base slowly because I burn easily. But now I have to watch out. I would like to get a normal light tan so I do not look so vampire like.
