I really disliked how Arwen was written, personally. There's one beautiful, strong, warrior woman in the series and it's not her!

But that's just me. She annoyed me, with her breathy voice and silly outfits. And I wanted to see Glorfindel.

Oh, but she didn't make it to Helm's Deep. That would have been truly awful. She just waved a sword at the Nazgul. I think a lot of that dying stuff came from the story of Arwen's mother, Celebrian.

Did you notice that Eowyn had a deeper chin cleft than Aragorn?

And I wanted to see Glorfindel.

Pray tell, why? What does Glorfindel offer that another elf can't give?
