Sounds like you still had a good time, even with the rain shortened race. Patiently awaiting the pics!

While I'm waiting for the pics to transfer from the camera to the PC, I got a bad-news story from the local NASCAR talk show, Let's Talk NASCAR (they archive the shows, but this morning's show hasn't yet been archived). Seems the Busch garage got "just a bit" crowded on Friday, and NASCAR decided to send the hauler drivers in a half-hour early Saturday to move their rigs up some to create more room. Only problem was, nobody told the track security, and they followed previous orders to keep the garage closed until 8 and blocked the drivers from entering the garage. A big brouhaha ensued, with phone calls, headsets being thrown, and a quote from a NASCAR official, "That's okay; we're not going to be here next year anyway."

Pit shots (both before and during the race) -

Setting up the 5 pit box (those are LCDs).

The 8 box (complete with Tracker seats up top)

What Brandon Miller hits on every stop (note the tongue sticking out; must be Happy's influence :-)

The 60 box (where I spent a good chunk of the race)

Edwards' second stop; right-sides on

And the lefts (where they discovered the broken shock; would have had pics of that, but the war wagon blocked the front of the car)
