A new thread where "the guardians (FReepers) of peace and justice in the Old Republic (America)" discuss ways to preserve our Republic.

Preserve, hell. It's already dead.

We need to talk about ways to restore it.

1. For one, we'll need to overturn Civil Forfeiture.
2. Call off the War on Drugs.
3. Get rid of the Patriot Act.
4. Repeal the 17th amendment.
5. Get rid of Socialist Security.
6. Do away with the court's belief they can regulate every part of our life by merely invoking the Commerce Clause.
7. Do away with CFR.
8. Declare that eminent domain is not to be used for private non-government projects.
9. Tattoo the Tenth Amendment on every legislator's forehead.
10. Repeal all existing gun laws.

Well, if people want to leave (i.e. Separatists), let them leave. Jedi didn't learn that lesson until too late. Not everyone wants to live the same way.

Also, don't get all crazy with the taxes.
