English actress Elizabeth Hurley reportedly plans planning a traditional Indian wedding when she marries textile magnate Arun Nayar next year. The Mirror said Hurley has advised her friends to reserve a month for the festivities. The wedding is scheduled for February in Rajasthan in northeast India. The Mirror cited a source close to Hurley and Nayar, who said that she wants a "traditional Indian princess-style wedding." "She loves the colorful traditions of the country and wants to embrace them," the source said. "She is very keen to involve elephants in some way and hopes to arrive on one -- but it depends on logistics and whether it actually fits in with the ceremony." Hurley and Nayar arrived at his 40th birthday party last year riding an elephant.

Hubby aint gonna be no Hugh Grant she can walk away from. I hear those Indian cooking accidents are awful.
Dawn Wells may have been the worst actor of the bunch but she made up for it by being a real babe.
My vote goes to Joey Heatherton
To convert to Hinduism, she would have to convert FROM something. My guess is that she has nothing to convert from. I once knew an old Hindu gentleman (a chartered accountant with an engineer son and daughter with a PhD in computer science.) He got up every morning at 5:00 a.m. to pray to the Hindu gods. A serious conversion would be a commitment that I doubt Liz Hurley is capable of. P.S.: you're right; the parents lived with their children - three generations in one house.
She's very pro-abortion:

Well, yes, I agree. "Reasonably good" is a fair estimate of the skills of all the actors involved. Of course, playing Mr. Howell was probably not much of a stretch for Jim Backus...
She IS NOT conservative. Believe me. But she is drop dead gorgeous. I think she is one of the loveliest looking people I've ever seen. I'm serious.
He said he never could understand what they were doing and he also thought it was basically nonsense.
Ok.. so the woman has all the say and the man must stay out of the decision. Ok then fine.. but don't come screaming to me for child support as well. You can't have it both ways.. abort / kill the kid when its not convenient or have it and hound the father for all he's worth (sometimes for millions in the high profile cases)
Ok... glad i got that off my chest. The picture reminded me of how utterly baseless your moral foundation has to be in order to start to accept liberal-think.
Wonder if she has switched positions or is just a pro-abort republican?
AJ better take a deep breath there...looks like she's about to blow a neck-vein.
Where did you hear that???
how long will the traditional Indian divorce take?
Well, Indian women wear all the gold they own on that day, establishing it as their personal property, so that if there is ever a divorce, they cannot be forced to give any of it up to their husbands who own everything else.
I'm not sure I understand what you're asking?
Also, if he predeceases her, there's the little custom of suttee, where she'll climb onto his funeral pyre and be burned with him.
I bumped into Liz Hurley and her boyfriend at the time, Hugh Grant, at Bruno's Bakery off Bleecker Street on LaGuardia in NYC very late one night in the spring of 2000. I didn't recognize them immediately, but we were the only ones there (me and my friend who went in for a 'before closing time cannoli & cappucino,' and Grant & Hurley) and my friend pointed them out to me.
Anyway, Hurley didn't look notably good looking at all. She was shorter than I expected (most movie celebs are), almost painfully thin and wearing an ill fitting yellow jumpsuit. Her skin was bad, actually, and her hair was oily and matted. She didn't look like a world-class model and actress to me.
They were very nice to the staff and were very naturally and credibly affectionate with one another. At times Hurley was picking at her desert and feeding it to Hugh, which was very cute. We even made some light conversation (though we didn't let on to them that we knew who they were). Very nice folks, and they left before we did - it was just closing time - and we exchanged good evening wishes to each other.
A few weeks later they split up. Oh well.
Anyway, in 'real life' at least that night, she didn't look particularly good and I think much of her physical allure is makeup, wardrobe, and movie/model camera magic. In any case, they both seemed like very nice, friendly people. I have bumped into many celebrities in my time in NYC and I think they tend to react nicer and naturally when you don't 'recognize' them and just treat them politely and like regular folks.
That is interesting.
I think you've confused her politics with her mothers...of the Judd singing fame. The mother was very pro-Bush...even dared to say so while on Bill Maher's show. Ashley, unfortunately has spent way too much time with the likes of Sean Penn....as a bonus she's fluent in french, thanks to time spent in boarding school.
