Does that line ever work?Art Buchwald wrote a piece which was last recorded instance of this line working. It is unclear if he was lying for the purposes of his humour, however, his article shows it has not worked at least since 1944.

Bingo! Big Mama was maybe a foot shorter than me, but had at least 60 pounds on me. She started pushing me - you know how guys push each other's shoulder in the bar when they're trying to start something? She was doing that with both hands.
