Why does the ice cream truck in your neighborhood play helter skelter?

Best of the 1980s: Steven Wright

Yeah, him, Jimi, Jim, Elvis, and Janis all are partying in Paris somewhere, LOL.

It was a very close call for me, it just depends on the mood I'm in. If asked right now I's say I like Puppets more than Justice.

Both are great, and I love Cliff Burton. He played on Puppets, but just wrote music for Justice.

Sigh. 120 Minutes was ritual every Sunday night from '86 to '89. My college days, and I still managed to make it to my 9 am class the next morning. Ah... those days were a blur of night clubs, concerts... and I still managed a 3.75 gpa!

Dangerous Dave Kendall... he was a total "tosser" to use a Brit phrase, but at least he was a fair piece better than that coked-out ditz, DownTown Julie Brown.

Best of the 1980s: Mickey Rourke in Diner.

Just don't accept a box of popcorn from him.

Loved Puppets, HATED the production on Justice. Thin guitars. Its clearly Lars's album.

Most underrated 80s band that should have been more famous, The Smithereens. Still going strong today, and Pat Dinizio is a Republican to boot.

1984, Ronald Reagan landslide victory for a second term (my first voting year) and the Tigers "almost sweep" of the Padres... :o)

Hey now.....no kickin' a guy for being honest... 8^(

You weren't down. I will only kick you when you are down! Like I said, there were plenty of worse things you could have been doing.

"Then MJ took over. Since he's gone, it's more interesting watching grass grow."

Early MJ was great, but towards the end of his career b-ball was already mostly down the crapper. I can't even watch a pro b-ball game now. In fact, I can barely watch college ball anymore, it's getting just as bad.

Legs,
Thanks for the ping! Ah.... the good old, bad old days! I had a great time during the 80's; Loring AFB was a hoppin' place.

And while a moose didn't bite my sister, I did see Cathy Thorpe's car after the moose attacked it. I wonder if she ever recovered from that.....

I saw Hoosiers again a few weeks ago. Have you ever noticed that every American flag in every gym in the movie is hung backwards? The blue field is on the wrong side.
