I usually stick up for Microsoft, but if this is true ... it sucks. The new editions of IE need to be backwards-compatible.

True enough, becasue Win2K is hands down the best OS MS has ever produced. It's almost as if MS didn't even make it, that's how good it is.....

This is where a non modular approach can really get you. For some reason I dont doubt that MS is doing this because of the difficulty in backporting ie7, if it functioned in a truly modular way this would be much easier..
Dont fret if you want an up2date browser you can always use FireFox (which may get a big kick out of this..

In a blog posting at the end of last week, a Microsoft employee confirmed ... Anyone can say anything on an internet blog these days. Better source would be from Microsoft itself.
