That WAS disconcerting, wasn't it? Did y'all get a picture at the set-up where they were doing forced perspectives? Clare and I did that at the exhibit in Boston. If I can figure out a way to set it up, I'll send it later.
Looks like a good time has been had by all! Praying everyone has safe drives back to their homes.
I was a hobbit, and had my picture taken with my friend who was Eowyn..If there would've been a really "authentic" Gandalf there, I probably would've tried to get him to pose with me in the "cart".

I read that they have to powder Boromir down when it's humid because the silicone sweats, and looks like beads of perspiration.
I also decided that at a younger age, I should've had a silicone sockmonkey made to be used at my funeral. Of course when you're dead, you can't hear people saying how good or bad you look, anyway...
I also liked the thing where you stood on the footsteps, and it told you what kind of creature you would be. I was correctly labeled as a halfling. I know people got a kick out of the little wisecracks it made. "Elvish has left the building."
We got interviewed and photo'd going into the exhibit first, but we didn't even ask the guy what paper or whatever it was for, so I'll probably never know.
At least in my previous fifteen minutes of fame marching around the Governor's Mansion with my "Cheatie's" Box, the reuter's guy told me it was going to be in papers around the globe..It's fun seeing your picture on Yahoo, and on the front page of foreign papers.
