(((Ruthy))) I know we are all praying for healing for your Grandfather, but we need to remember that the Lord sometimes heals in ways that we may not prefer, but that healing brings peace.

At this point, I'm praying that the Lord do His Will, but to please show mercy and do it quickly.
My grandfather became a bit combative today and tore off the restraints they had on him to get at his IV and catheter. The cancer is in both lungs, both kidneys and in his bones which includes skull and spine.
It's a torturous thing to watch someone you love die this way, so I pray the Lord takes him home soon since recovery seems so futile now.
I'm really not that cold about it. But I do realize that my grandfather's heart only worked at half-capacity since his bypass surgery and it won't hold out much longer under these circumstances.
Thank you for your prayers for the Lord's healing. We trust that He always knows how best to heal.
