Ladies Night on Wednesday....
Good morning everyone, glad all you mooters got home safe! I hope there's still lots of pictures and stories to tell!
We're getting good rain now too, yesterday and today. I don't curse any rain we get after the start of June, by July it'll be so dry I like to put that off as long as possible!
I'm dealing with the pictures right now...will at least get the group photo up ASAP.

We were driving by the Boston Gun Club (which is in Worcester) the other day, and noticed that Friday nights were "Ladies Night", and we get to shoot for free! Gonna have to check it out! ;o)
Well, we know you and Steve enjoyed it, how did the Jedis like Shootmoot, and getting the chance to hang out with thegirl, the boy and thenewboy?

G'nads...thank you so much for hosting the moot! You have a truly beautiful home there - the sort of place I dream about having someday: plenty of land and off the beaten track, with room for a garden and a good patch of woods, porches for sitting and talking - that was just wonderful, especially early in the morning with the birds singing and the air still cool. *sigh* It was lovely. And the food! I wish't I'd had a hollow leg! It was really good...especially the shrimp and the Bambi bits. And it was great getting to see thegirl again! She's a really special little girl. Wish Margaret could have been there, too. I know she was very disappointed that it didn't work out.
Thanks to all who brought guns and ammunition! Coming from knowing *nothing* about shooting, I feel like I at least know enough to know I wanna learn more. And I want a .22 rifle to play around with and a revolver of some sort for self-defence and target practice. I really liked the revolvers...the simplicity appeals to me. And they're purty...
OT and 2J - thanks again for playing music with me! I really enjoyed that. Wish we'd had more time, but I guess that'll have to wait for future moots. I was also a little disappointed that we didn't really get to hear g'nad sing. Again...just means we gotta meet again!

I think Ladies Night only applies to members, though. But for $20, I'd make up the price of membership with only 2 nights.

LOL Steve told me on the way home that he thinks he best stick with getting me diamonds...then a scratch would be the worst I could ever do to him.
(Background for those that don't know...it was suggested that Steve should get me rifles instead of diamonds as they seemed to impress me more.)

I couldn't hold it up...you've got more upper body strength than I do! That was why the little .22 was fun...nothing to it.
