Bottom line, in any case, is that I really think it's not right for people to say "I'm Catholic, but...". Either you are, in which case you go along with the teachings of the Church, or you aren't, in which case, why pretend? Why not just call yourself nondenominational or whatever?
And it bugged me that most people sat absolutely silent even when he was saying "the Church teaches this" (which it doesn't), "but I think..." Help me out here, guys!
That's another thing that bugs me: people who hate things about the Church that aren't even the Church.
Sorry...just venting. Not really looking for solutions. I just felt down already, and that didn't help matters any.

Guess I oughta go to bed early-ish. Got to be in better condition tomorrow. Or at least willing to act like it. Haven't seen my dad since Christmas and I doubt he'd appreciate me being all hormonal-y at him.

Morning, everybody! Far as I can tell there's been no explosions in the night.

Been painting rooms at home - 'tis tiring and messy. Tonight I'm hanging curtains.
That's exactly what I tell my jedis even now...if they're in a situation that they know they shouldnt' be in, CALL ME and I'll get them no matter what. Told them that they might have consequences, but there would be no doubt of my pride and love for them.
Me? I swear to you, I'd have rather gone to jail than call my folks.
