We went up around McCall ID. Plenty of places to hike up there and from the look of it probably more than a few places that are rentable. My buddy's folks have a 'cabin' up there which we stayed at. McCall is a good spot because it has grown up into a kinda resort type town but still is in the middle of the boonies. Great places to trail ride up there too if someone had some horses.
