BTW, when I was in college I backpacked a pony keg to the top of Devil's Courthouse and hosted a party complete with musicians and about 1/2 way down the face until the rangers ran us off.
Come to WA.... we have a HUGH Volcano theme park!
It's not a good party till the rangers run you off...
Live action!
We need to post a clickable map of the US and have folks vote on which state(s) they'd like the next moot to be in.
We could tally up the votes from there.
State with the most votes wins.
At least that could narrow down the search area for vacation rentals.
We need to vote on the time of year too.
Or even get an idea of what folks want to do on the next moot. That would go a long way towards determining where we'd need to be.
I have a lot of respect for those rangers of 'old'. They lined us up, asked who was driving, checked our eyes and made the more glassy eyed of us give our keys to someone else to drive and sent us on our way.
Today they'd have called the wagon and tow trucks.
Well said, I was just thinking the same thing!
We'll get thirty states with one vote each ;-)
I vote Hawaii.
Heh, again you read my mind! ;)
LOL! Don't I wish!
I think Hawaii will be our 2010 Moot.
After Ramius finally gets us our six-figure salaries. ;-D
I'm negotiable on my unclicked states... but those are the ones that come to mind!
create your own visited states map or check out these Google Hacks.
If'n we ain't got more than 50 HHDs, we might never get a majority...
Mornin' Penny! Let me know if I start comin' up with thoughts you wouldn't ;~D
My map would look exactly like yours except for I'd trade Kookifornia for Utah.
No one is going to vote to go to Deleware. Or New Jersey. You can take those off the list ;~D
Plus in San Diego (less than a 2-hour drive away) the Wild Animal Park (WAY better than an ordinary zoo) and of course the world famous Lawrence Welk museum. I mean, c'mon, it doesn't get much better than that! ;)
And did you mean "Sea World" rather than "Sea Land" or is there something called Sea Land that I haven't heard of?
Of course we would! Everyone gets to vote for more than one state.
I don't remember what the "Sea" attraction was called.... one of those!
