Giving a kid coffee is a home remedy?
Home remedies are all well and good, but just 'cuz it's natural or ancient, doesn't mean it works.
:-p
When we have people over tomorrow I think I'll make chicken curry - one of the guys doesn't really like beef. Sound ok?
Oh! The coffee wasn't a home remedy.
That was just her way of waking me up so she could get out the door to work on time.
My picnic thingie is tomorrow...so unless I can't find it, I won't be around.
Meant to tell you last night, but I forgot.
If there are leftovers, though...I'll eat either type of curry quite happily. :-)
Oh - darn, I thought that was tonight! Drat.
There might be leftovers... dunno, what with two male people coming.
I originally was thinking it was tonight, but I was confused. It's on the 8th. Oops!
Forgot to ask, did ya get a chance to peruse the Palace pics yet?
Yes, we have, and I intend to have hubby create a page for them in our HH site to share them, but we've been busy!
Sorry I didn't thank you for them personally! It is really neat to see snapshots of what the place is like.
We're going to print a few of them to hang right next to the plaque on the wall, to show where it came from. It's a pretty neat thing to have, and people have been really wowed to touch and hold it!
I forgot to include a government mandated warning label with it to release us from any liability associted with touching it and contacting any bacteria, dirt etc that may be on it....ha ha ha. gonna e-mail you a pic, stand by.
I wondered, when we do post them to the HH site.... do I need to do anything to protect your name? would you be in trouble for the plaque or pictures if they got seen?
Liability released... waiting for the pic ;~D
Pic on the way. It's of a little something I picked up over there. That one was on my arm. I have had them on my legs, face, hand, arm, and currently on my eyelid. They suck. The VA suspects Leishmaniasis, however have not got a good test result to date. That is what I was refering to as the "liability" associated with it. Was only joking. You can post anything I sent you, just use my FR name as you always have for privacy.
OK - I certainly want to give you credit for it, and would use your FR name... I just didn't want them coming looking for you.
As for the 'little something' egads.... what is this "Leishmaniasis"? is it sortof like staph, in that it's systemic? Is it going to go away?
It's a parasite, and the only treatment center is at Walter Reed. I just want to be rid of it.
I sure hope you do get rid of it and soon!
Are you making a Wal-Mart list? Am trying to think of stuff I need... soda, food, and chapstick...
You can post it if ya want. Dad (graybeard58) is going to wyoming here in the near future. It is still a haul to your place, but remind him that his new car gets 40 plus MPG. He was talking last week, and said that he has never been on a horse. He mentioned that he would like to before he dies. I told him when he goes west he should just keep going and then you could get him on a horse. You can help me encourage him to keep going. I have told him how much I loved the SEATAC Area, and how beautiful it is. I really think he would like it too. Got another pic for ya on the way that started all the horse talk. We took a carraige ride on the St. Louis riverfront as part of our little mini honeymoon.
I will certainly invite and encourage him to come out here, and would love to get him on a horse! We'd keep him safe and make sure he had a good time.
Are we conspiring behind his back at this point or shall I officially invite him? :~D
I'm pinging to request prayers for recovery from this nasty critter, Smaagee. It looks like an awful thing to have to deal with.
